Pink Sunset (Sherbinski Selection)

Pink Sunset - Silent Seeds

Pink Sunset is a modern Californian hybrid genetic that emerged from the collaboration with Sherbinski. The strain combines Florida OG and Pink Panties and stands out not only for its vigorous growth: under suitable conditions, the plants can develop attractive pink, red and purple hues. Pink Sunset thus represents a modern side of the Silent Seeds genetics, where exceptional US lines and a complex aroma profile take centre stage.

When cultivated, Pink Sunset develops extremely vigorously and can reach an impressive size, especially outdoors. For large outdoor plants, additional support can be useful, while the growth can be shaped specifically through various training techniques. Pink Sunset is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation and can also be cultivated using methods such as SCROG and Sea of Green (SOG).

The complex aroma of Pink Sunset is particularly characteristic. Sweet and creamy notes meet floral and gassy nuances, creating an intense flavour profile that is clearly influenced by modern Californian dessert genetics. The combination of striking appearance, vigorous development and this complex aromatic character makes Pink Sunset a particularly interesting representative of the modern Sherbinski selection.

Silent Seeds: carrying on Dinafem with a new name

Silent Seeds is based in Rotterdam in Holland. The people behind it are the same ones who were part of Dinafem for years. They know what they are doing since they have been around since 2005. The team came back in 2021 under the name Silent Seeds. It feels like a continuation, not a restart. They focus on both feminized and autoflowering seeds. Some of the work is done together with Sherbinski, which is why you see a few new strains that feel closer to the American style.

They still keep names like Moby Dick, OG Kush, White Widow, and LA Vanilla Cake alive. At the same time, there are newer mixes. Some growers like the tradition, others chase the fresh genetics. Both are there. The oldschool strains still have a loyal following because people know exactly what to expect from them. Meanwhile, breeders continue experimenting with flavors, effects, and stronger terpene profiles. In many clubs and shops, you can see both worlds side by side. That mix of classic and modern genetics is part of what makes the scene so interesting today.
