Acai Jelly (Sherbinski Selection)

Acai Jelly - Silent Seeds

Acai Jelly by Sherbinskis and Silent Seeds is a modern cross between the two Gelato lines Bacio Gelato and Acai Berry Gelato. This collaboration brings together two well-known US genetics in an Indica-Sativa hybrid that stands out particularly for its versatile characteristics and unusually complex aromatic profile. The characteristic traits of the Gelato family meet a combination of fruity, sweet and spicy fragrance notes.

When grown, Acai Jelly proves to be an easy-to-grow and adaptable cannabis strain for indoor and outdoor gardens. According to the breeder, the plant can be cultivated easily under different conditions, making it suitable for both less experienced and seasoned growers. The combination of the two Gelato lines results in versatile hybrid genetics suited to different growing environments.

Genetically, Acai Jelly combines two different representatives of the modern Gelato family. Bacio Gelato and Acai Berry Gelato together form the basis of this cross, with aromatic diversity taking centre stage. The interplay between the two parent lines is reflected in a fragrance profile that combines fruity and floral elements with deeper nuances reminiscent of Kush. This gives Acai Jelly a distinctive character within the Gelato genetics.

Particularly striking is the complex aroma of red fruits, cocoa, sweet floral notes and a subtle Kush background. Fruity accents together with floral nuances form the sweeter side, while cocoa and spicy Kush notes add extra depth. Acai Jelly thus combines Bacio Gelato and Acai Berry Gelato into a versatile Gelato cross with a distinctive fragrance profile of red fruits, cocoa, sweet flowers and Kush.

Silent Seeds: carrying on Dinafem with a new name

Silent Seeds is based in Rotterdam in Holland. The people behind it are the same ones who were part of Dinafem for years. They know what they are doing since they have been around since 2005. The team came back in 2021 under the name Silent Seeds. It feels like a continuation, not a restart. They focus on both feminized and autoflowering seeds. Some of the work is done together with Sherbinski, which is why you see a few new strains that feel closer to the American style.

They still keep names like Moby Dick, OG Kush, White Widow, and LA Vanilla Cake alive. At the same time, there are newer mixes. Some growers like the tradition, others chase the fresh genetics. Both are there. The oldschool strains still have a loyal following because people know exactly what to expect from them. Meanwhile, breeders continue experimenting with flavors, effects, and stronger terpene profiles. In many clubs and shops, you can see both worlds side by side. That mix of classic and modern genetics is part of what makes the scene so interesting today.
