Sticky Berry Mints XXL by Sensi Seeds is an excellent mostly indica strain developed for the 2026 collection. The genetics originated from crossing Emergen-C and Sticky Orange XXL, the latter being a creation from the Sensi Seeds Research program. Its genetic background includes well-known lines such as Sunset Sherbet, Shiva Skunk and California Indica, which bring together various characteristics in this combination. The result is a versatile hybrid with a distinctive aroma profile of intense citrus fruits, sweet mandarin, spicy diesel and creamy mint notes.
The flowering time of Sticky Berry Mints is approximately 60 to 65 days. Thanks to its comparatively open structure, the strain shows good resistance to moisture and mold, according to Sensi Seeds. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation in temperate to warm, rather dry climates. Sticky Berry Mints XXL is particularly well suited to Screen of Green (SCROG) systems, as the lateral branches need sufficient space to develop. Sea of Green (SOG), mainlining and lollipopping are also possible, although the somewhat slower vegetative growth and slender branches should be taken into account.
Particularly characteristic is the interplay of zesty citrus fruits, sweet mandarin, powerful diesel, creamy mint and fresh herbal notes. While intense orange and citrus aromas dominate initially, warm, fuel-like nuances, a subtle creamy sweetness and spicy woodland herbs develop in the background. The aroma profile is complemented by a light Kush note that adds extra depth to the fruity, creamy combination.

Sensi Seeds has been around since the 1980s. Anyone who has ever come into contact with cannabis cultivation has probably heard the name before. Based in Amsterdam, they have been releasing seeds for decades. Many famous genetics that people still talk about today originally came from here. What makes Sensi special is their catalog – it contains real classics that can be grown very successfully even without much experience. Strains like Jack Herer or Northern Lights are practically timeless. Many growers keep coming back to them because they simply work. Today, Sensi also offers autoflower strains and CBD lines that are especially popular in the medical cannabis sector.
Quick Facts Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Founded: 1985 Focus: classic genetics, regular, feminized and autoflower seeds Known for: Jack Herer, Northern Lights, Skunk #1, Super Skunk, Shiva Shanti Best for: anyone looking for stable seeds that have been proven reliable for decades
On top of that, Sensi Seeds has done a huge amount for cannabis culture in Europe over the years. The brand was one of the early pioneers when it came to collecting, stabilizing, and preserving old genetics for the long term. That is exactly why many of their strains are now considered a true reference point in the cannabis world. Beginners often choose Sensi because the plants are known for being robust and relatively easy to grow. At the same time, their limited editions and unique crosses also appeal to experienced growers. The seed bank is also well known for its close ties to the Amsterdam coffeeshop and cannabis scene. With the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum, they even helped make the history of the hemp plant accessible to a wider audience. Despite the many new seed banks entering the market, Sensi Seeds remains one of the most recognized names in the industry to this day.
