Punto Rojo - C Line ‘Juicy Lucy’ is a P3 landrace bred from P1 seeds collected by Kaiki (Charlie Garcia) and his friends in Colombia in 2008. For the P2 Punto Rojo, a P1 male from Nachillo was used, which was crossed with a selected variety from Charlie Garcia. There are no less than 15 different phenotypes of this Colombian breed, with a flowering period of between 14 and 22 weeks until harvest.
The phenotype selected by Hyp3rids is logically this Punto Rojo #3 P3 ‘Juicy Lucy’, the mother of the C-line, due to the shortest flowering time and the most compact growth. She is also the easiest to grow and always produces great results, even for complete beginners, as long as you have a little patience. Punto Rojo, which originates from near the equator, flowers longer than Thai varieties, but cannot be compared to a Thai in terms of quality and odour. Putno Rojo smells subtly of incense, the delicious flavour is not fruity but woody and really absolutely delicious.
