Manufacturer: Purple City Genetics
Lemon Picon is a hybrid of Chile Verde and SLSMAC - it's a genetics with an exceptional jalapeño terpene profile and a lemony, citrus aftertaste. It is a very vigorous plant, a mostly Sativa which, depending on the phenotype, produces medium-sized individuals with medium-long internodal distances. Indoors it can get really big and sometimes even break, so you should definitely provide it with a lot of wind and sometimes a support of the branches is necessary!
Purple City Genetics, or PCG for short, has been around since 2008. They are based in Oakland and started out as a cannabis collective. Over the years, as the cannabis scene in the States kept shifting, they adjusted too. These days, they breed for everyone from home growers to large-scale farms, but they still keep their quality standards high. They have picked up plenty of awards along the way at different events and cups. Their strains are easy enough for beginners to work with, but experienced growers will get a lot out of them too.

PCG’s catalogue is not just about yield – though they do that well – it is about flavour and potency too. They put out some pretty wild crosses, and their terpene profiles are always something to talk about. Sometimes they release small-batch strains that disappear fast, so it is worth keeping an eye out.
