Lemon OG – Super Sativa Seedclub

Lemon OG from the Super Sativa Seed Club is an indica-dominant cross between Super Lemon Skunk and an original OG Kush from the genetic stock of Kees and Karel. The ratio is approximately 65% Indica to 35% Sativa. As a result, the plants remain rather short and compact and are also well suited for indoor spaces with limited height. Growth heights of around 0.7 to 1.2 meters are common, with Lemon OG being particularly well suited for a Sea-of-Green due to its structure.

The strain shows an overall uncomplicated growth and combines the characteristics of its two parent lines very nicely. While Super Lemon Skunk contributes the distinctly fresh citrus component, the OG Kush side provides the stronger, spicy character. This creates a sweet-spicy aroma profile with lemon, pepper and typical Kush notes. It is precisely this combination that makes Lemon OG an interesting choice within the Super Sativa Seed Club seeds for lovers of classic Kush genetics with a pronounced citrus profile.

Visually, Lemon OG also shows its distinct Indica side. The plants develop a compact and vigorous structure and can be controlled well due to their manageable height. Super Sativa Seed Club: Old School Genetics from Netherlands

The Super Sativa Seed Club (SSSC) has roots going back to the mid 1980s in Den Haag. It grew out of the original Sacred Seeds work and quickly gained a reputation for strains like Durban x Thai, Williams Wonder, and M39. The story begins when Sam the Skunkman moved from California to the Netherlands, bringing Haze and Skunk #1 genetics. From there, Karel Schelfhout used these plants to build the early SSSC library.

SSSC made waves in High Times, but much of the early collection was later lost. Still, Karel preserved a cutting of Old School Haze, which remains at the heart of their work. Today, Karel’s son Kees continues the breeding, keeping the classic strains alive for a new generation.
