Skunk Auto by Strain Hunters transfers the classic character of a Skunk into an uncomplicated autoflowering genetic. For this strain, Skunk was crossed with Ruderalis. As a result, Skunk Auto combines the traditional characteristics of its Skunk lineage with the automatic flowering behaviour of Ruderalis and does not require a change in the light cycle to initiate flowering.

When cultivated, Skunk Auto proves comparatively uncomplicated and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. Especially outdoors, the autoflowering genetic offers the possibility of bringing a Skunk into flower independently of the natural shortening of daylight hours. This also makes the strain interesting for growers who want to combine a classic cannabis line with simpler and more flexible cultivation in terms of timing.

In terms of character, Skunk Auto clearly remains true to its well-known lineage. The classic Skunk influence is at the centre, while the crossed-in Ruderalis primarily contributes the autoflowering growth. Strain Hunters: Rare Seeds Collected Worldwide

The Strain Hunters Seed Bank began in 2013 in Amsterdam as part of the Green House Seed Company. The idea was to gather rare cannabis strains from across the world and make them available to growers. Over time, the focus has been on feminized seeds, autoflowering hybrids, and landraces that you usually do not see for sale. Many of these genetics came from trips through Africa, Jamaica, Latin America, and Vietnam.
