Spumoni 6 fem

Spumoni – The Plug Seeds

Spumoni by The Plug Seedbank is a feminised cannabis strain created by crossing Do-Si-Dos and Sunset Sherbet. This combination brings together two well-known American varieties, particularly appreciated for their complex aroma profiles and distinctive genetic characteristics. While Do-Si-Dos has its roots in the modern Cookies family, Sunset Sherbet contributes a distinctly sweet and fruity element to the cross. Spumoni combines these two lines into a distinctive hybrid, characterised by its interesting lineage and the careful selection of its parent genetics.

In cultivation, Spumoni is a versatile and relatively straightforward strain, particularly well suited to indoor growing. Depending on the phenotype, different characteristics of the two parent lines may become apparent. Spumoni also made a name for itself early on: the strain was awarded first place at the High Times Cannabis Cup 2018 in Amsterdam, making it one of the Spanish breeder's award-winning genetics.

In terms of aroma, Spumoni stands out for its complex combination of sweet, creamy and fruity notes. The characteristic dessert-like fragrance of Sunset Sherbet genetics meets the earthy and slightly spicy nuances of Do-Si-Dos. This creates an intense aroma profile reminiscent of sweet pastries, ripe fruit and subtle Kush accents. This combination makes Spumoni particularly interesting for enthusiasts of modern American Cookies and Sherbet crosses. Within the range of The Plug Seeds, Spumoni represents an award-winning hybrid strain with an unmistakable combination of sweet and spicy aromas.

The Plug Seedbank: Cup Winners from Barcelona

The Plug Seedbank comes out of The Plug BCN, which is a cannabis café in Barcelona that a lot of people already know about. From there it turned into a seed company, kind of a natural step for the group. They work with breeders and growers who test the strains first, so by the time seeds are sold they have already been through a good amount of trial.

Over the years they have picked up a fair share of cannabis cup prizes, and that is one reason people talk about them so much. Their releases in 2020 made a bit of noise in the industry, the kind that people who watch new strains closely tend to notice. Names like Blue Sherbert, Spumoni, and Punch the Cake have already taken prizes and will probably grab more down the line.
