Jetlag

Jetlag – The Plug Seeds

Jetlag (Kosher Kush x Runtz) by The Plug Seedbank is a potent, mostly Indica strain that perfectly combines two well-known American varieties. Kosher Kush, also known as Jews Gold, belongs to the established OG Kush lines and is recognised for its distinctive genetic background. Runtz adds a modern cross that has attracted particular attention for its pronounced sweet and fruity aroma characteristics. Jetlag therefore combines classic Kush heritage with the qualities of modern American dessert genetics.

In cultivation, Jetlag is a versatile strain suitable for both indoor and outdoor growing. One particularly attractive feature is its colour development: depending on the phenotype and growing conditions, the plants can develop various shades of purple and blue, creating an appealing contrast with their green foliage. The combination of Kosher Kush and Runtz provides an interesting genetic foundation, with traits from both parent lines potentially expressing themselves to varying degrees. This makes Jetlag especially appealing to enthusiasts of modern Kush crosses with striking visual characteristics.

In terms of aroma, Jetlag stands out for its intense combination of sweet candy notes, candied fruit and distinctive gassy and pine-like aromas. The pronounced fruity sweetness inherited from Runtz meets the spicy, slightly fuel-like and piney nuances of Kosher Kush genetics. The result is a complex fragrance profile that combines sweet dessert aromas with classic OG Kush characteristics. Within the range of The Plug Seedbank seeds, Jetlag represents a modern Indica-dominant cross with striking colours and an unmistakable sweet, fruity Kush aroma profile.

The Plug Seedbank: Cup Winners from Barcelona

The Plug Seedbank comes out of The Plug BCN, which is a cannabis café in Barcelona that a lot of people already know about. From there it turned into a seed company, kind of a natural step for the group. They work with breeders and growers who test the strains first, so by the time seeds are sold they have already been through a good amount of trial.

Over the years they have picked up a fair share of cannabis cup prizes, and that is one reason people talk about them so much. Their releases in 2020 made a bit of noise in the industry, the kind that people who watch new strains closely tend to notice. Names like Blue Sherbert, Spumoni, and Punch the Cake have already taken prizes and will probably grab more down the line.
