The line was specifically developed further to stabilize the characteristic fern-like leaf structure while simultaneously refining the aroma profile toward Lemon, Chem and Menthol.

The lineage is stated as Mentha de Croco Fern F1 × Mentha de Croco Fern F2. The genetic foundations include Mentholskunk V2 “Fern-Type” by Cannabis Research Company as well as Croco, a polyphyllous hybrid mutant by TerpyZ Mutant Genetics. Around 80% of the plants are expected to show the typical Fern expression, while so-called Raptor phenotypes may occur in a smaller proportion.

Particularly striking is the unusual leaf structure with fine leaf forms that sometimes appear almost snowflake-like or distinctly fern-like. The plants grow compact and vigorous and develop dense flowers with a comparatively low leaf proportion as well as pronounced trichome and production.

The aroma profile is also exceptional. At the forefront is an intense combination of lemon, Chem and Menthol. Fresh lemon peel and sweet Meyer lemon notes meet cool mint, chemical nuances and a slightly gassy undertone. In rare cases, a “Blueberry Parfum” phenotype may also occur, in which perfume-like blueberry and floral notes combine with the characteristic Chem profile.
