White Widow

White Widow - Spliff Seeds

White Widow by Spliff Seeds is a fantastic strain whose genetics are based on the cross (Brazilian Sativa × South Indian Indica) × Northern Lights Special. The original White Widow is one of the best-known classics of Amsterdam's coffeeshop scene and has enjoyed great popularity for decades. For its feminized version, Spliff Seeds crossed its own regular White Widow with the proven Northern Lights Special. The aim of this further development was to preserve the characteristic traits of the original White Widow while achieving a more compact and particularly stable plant structure. The result is a genetically very homogeneous and uniformly growing hybrid that combines classic White Widow characteristics with the traits of Northern Lights genetics.

White Widow develops compact, vigorous plants with medium to dark green leaves and a growth structure typical of Indica strains. Overall, the strain is characterized by a short flowering time. White Widow is particularly well suited to cultivation in hydroponic growing systems, where it displays its uniform development particularly well.

White Widow's delicious aroma combines earthy, slightly sour notes with floral nuances and subtle fruity aromas. The dominant characteristic is a distinctive earthy base note, accompanied by a pleasant sourness and delicate floral accents. Subtle fruity nuances develop in the background, adding further aromatic depth to the classic White Widow profile.

Spliff Seeds: Amsterdam Breeding Since the Nineties

Spliff Seeds started back in 1995 in Amsterdam. Two growers, Marcel and Erik, set it up and gave it a logo that people still remember because it is probably the funniest one in the seed scene. From the very beginning, their idea was simple: keep prices fair but make sure the genetics stay strong. They choose their parent plants carefully, then test them over and over before anything is released.

Some growers choose them for the simple growing process, others for the THC punch. Either way, the catalog is straightforward and solid. Incidentally, many varieties of spliff are ideal for growing on the balcony.
