Manufacturer: Serious Seeds
Serious Seed's biggest strain, called Chronic, was crossed with the CBD-Crew Strain Remedy, a strain with an extremely high CBD content. The combination was lab tested in Spain and all samples had a perfect 1:1 ratio of THC to CBD.
CBD Chronic grows very centrally and has only a few side branches, it is very easy to grow and therefore also ideal for beginners. It smells earthy, slightly fruity and very fresh, it is the first purely medicinal CBD strain from Serious Seeds, a real milestone.
This medical strain allows patients to easily produce large quantities of medical cannabis with a high CBD content without much effort. It is a medical strain that could be very suitable for treating the symptoms of multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Tourette's syndrome, glaucoma or arthritis. The production of medicinal extracts (e.g. Rick Simpson Oil) and lotions, creams or ointments is made much easier with this strain.

Simon did not just appear out of nowhere. Before starting the company, he spent years collecting seeds from different parts of the world. He also worked with Alan Dronkers at Sensi Seeds, which gave him a lot of extra knowledge and access to rare genetics. By the time he launched Serious Seeds in 1994, he had a few strains ready that ended up changing the market. AK-47, Chronic, and White Russian especially left a big mark.
