Garlic Gas – Sensi Seeds

Garlic Gas is a beautifully balanced mix of 50% Indica and 50% Sativa, developed for the Sensi Seeds 2026 collection. The genetics originated from crossing Original Sour Diesel with a Garlic Bud × Papaya hybrid. Particularly interesting is the Garlic Bud line used, which dates back to a breeding project from the 1980s by The Seed Bank of Holland, the predecessor of Sensi Seeds. While Original Sour Diesel contributes its characteristic fuel-like and spicy qualities, the combination of Garlic Bud and Papaya enhances the aroma profile with sweet tropical fruits, fresh citrus notes and a subtle peppery spice.

Garlic Gas develops medium-sized, vigorous plants with long, upright-growing side branches and slightly wider internodal spacing. During indoor cultivation the plants reach a height of approximately 70 to 110 cm, while outdoors they can grow up to 200 cm. The flowering time is approximately 60 to 65 days. The plants develop a compact structure with striking orange pistils and a comparatively low proportion of leaves. Garlic Gas is particularly suitable for indoor cultivation as well as sunny, warm to temperate outdoor locations with sufficient air circulation. Thanks to its longer internodes and strong side branches, the strain can be grown successfully in Screen of Green (SCROG) systems. Mainlining and lollipopping are also possible, while Sea of Green (SOG) is less recommended according to the breeder.

Particularly characteristic is the interplay of sweet tropical fruits, zesty citrus fruits, peppery spices, floral notes and subtle diesel aromas. While fruity and citrus-dominated nuances initially prevail, spicy pepper notes, fresh floral aromas and a light fuel-like note emerge in the background. By combining Original Sour Diesel, Garlic Bud and Papaya, Sensi Seeds brings together classic Diesel genetics with fruity and spicy characteristics to create a distinctive hybrid strain.
