O Haze Red

O Haze Red – Reggae Seeds

O Haze Red is a Sativa-influenced cannabis strain created by crossing Dancehall #24 × Jack the Ripper. The genetics thus bring together two distinctive parent lines and are particularly aimed at enthusiasts of classic Sativa and Haze profiles. The focus is on vigorous plant development and an intense aroma that combines sweet fruits with spicy, incense-like nuances.

When grown, O Haze Red develops a vigorous, rather open and distinctly Sativa-influenced plant structure. Despite this genetic background, the strain is considered comparatively straightforward to cultivate. Indoors, its vigorous development can be managed well when sufficient space is available, while outdoors it is particularly interesting for regions with sufficiently warm and long growing seasons.

Genetically, O Haze Red brings together two different lines in Dancehall #24 and Jack the Ripper. Dancehall #24 forms one side of the cross, while Jack the Ripper particularly adds to its pronounced Sativa and Haze style. Depending on the phenotype, the characteristics of the two parents may be expressed to different degrees and influence both plant structure and aromatic expression.

O Haze Red's aromatic profile is particularly characteristic. Intense sweet fruit notes combine with spicy nuances reminiscent of incense and classic Haze genetics. This creates a complex Old-School profile that clearly differs from modern Candy and dessert genetics. O Haze Red thus combines Dancehall #24 and Jack the Ripper into a Sativa-influenced genetic with a sweet-fruity and distinctly incense-like Haze character.

Reggae Seeds: Caribbean Vibes from Spain

Reggae Seeds kicked things off in Spain back in 2006. The idea was simple. Make good seeds for growers, collectors, and people who need them for medical reasons. The folks behind it have been into cannabis for a long time. Most of their life, really. They went looking for genetics that felt special and kept them close until they were ready to share. A lot of what they offer has plenty of CBD, which makes it interesting for people dealing with certain health problems. What’s more, all these varieties are very easy to grow, even for beginners.

Quick Facts
Location: Spain
Focus: CBD-rich, roots-inspired strains
Types Available: Regular and feminised seeds
Known For: Caribbean style genetics with a mellow touch
Works Well For: Anyone after natural, oldschool plants

They started by working with commercial strains and landraces from the Caribbean and other parts of the world. At first, they stuck to regular seeds, keeping things natural and avoiding chemical tweaks. Over time, with a lot of trial and error, they added feminised seeds too. If you like the idea of growing something with that roots feel, or you just want seeds that are not the same as everything else, they might be worth a look.
