Grandaddy OG

Granddaddy OG - Purple Caper Seeds

Granddaddy OG by Purple Caper Seeds is a mostly Indica strain created by combining selected Pure OG Kush phenotypes from the Bay Area with Granddaddy Purple. On the OG side, Purple Caper Seeds used Fire OG and True OG. Granddaddy OG therefore combines classic Californian OG Kush genetics with the unmistakable Purple character of Granddaddy Purple.

When grown, Granddaddy OG develops a vigorous, healthy and distinctly Indica-influenced plant structure. The strain is considered relatively straightforward to cultivate and is particularly well suited to indoor growing and greenhouse cultivation. Its manageable growth and robust development make it interesting for both experienced growers and those with less cultivation experience.

Granddaddy OG also clearly displays the influence of its different parental lines in its appearance. While the OG Kush side shapes the vigorous structure, Granddaddy Purple can contribute pink, violet to deep purple and dark-green hues. The intensity of these colours can vary depending on phenotype, temperature and other growing conditions. The combination of dark foliage and Purple nuances gives the strain a particularly distinctive appearance.

Aromatically, Granddaddy OG brings together two classic Californian directions. Sweet grapes and wild berries combine with powerful OG Kush and gas notes. The fruity Purple side provides pronounced sweetness, while Fire OG and True OG give the profile a deeper, gassy Kush base. This creates a complex US aroma profile combining ripe grapes, dark berries and classic OG gas that particularly defines the character of Granddaddy OG.
