Spice by Mr Nice Seeds is a traditional strain that originated from a cross between two Hawaiian landraces – Hawaiian Indica and Hawaiian Sativa. It combines classic old-school genetics with modern stability and reliability and is one of the long-standing favourites in the Mr Nice range. The plants grow quickly, vigorously and upright, developing a thick main stem and large, dark green leaves. Spice is extremely resilient, forgiving of mistakes and suitable for both beginners and professionals. It is particularly well suited to Sea of Green or Screen of Green techniques, as well as greenhouse cultivation.
It is characterised by its complex, fruity-exotic terpene profile with sweet, tropical and aromatic notes, reminiscent of old Hawaiian genetics. The taste is rich, spicy-fruity (hence the name ‘spicy’) without being overpowering. Mr Nice Seeds was created by grower Shantibaba, also known as Scott Blakey, along with his long-time friend Howard Marks, who many knew as Mr Nice. They started the seed bank years ago to share their favourite cannabis genetics with growers everywhere. Over time, their work has been recognised with wins at the High Times Cannabis Cup.
