Petrol Pop

Petrol Pop – James Loud Seeds

Petrol Pop was created by crossing the strains SFV OG Kush and ZBX and combines the classic fuel-like aromas of OG genetics with the sweet and fruity candy notes of ZBX. The mother line, SFV OG Kush, has been one of the established genetics in James Loud's breeding program for many years and was carefully selected through targeted phenotype selection. It brings its characteristic notes of gas, pine, earthy spice and citrus fruits to this combination. With ZBX, a second parent line is introduced, enriching the aroma profile with sweet fruity notes, melon and pronounced candy accents. The result is a complex blend of intense fuel aromas, fresh pine, citrus fruits and fruity sweetness.

Particularly interesting is the relationship between aroma profile and development: According to James Loud, the sweeter phenotypes with more pronounced candy aromas often reach maturity earlier than the variants with distinctive gas notes. According to the manufacturer, the flowering time is approximately 53 to 63 days, with a period of 56 to 60 days proving optimal for most plants. James Loud recommends indoor cultivation as the preferred growing environment for Petrol Pop. Thanks to its uncomplicated growth characteristics, the strain is also suitable for beginners and less experienced growers.

Particularly characteristic is the interplay of gas, pine, earthy notes, citrus fruits, melon and sweet candy aromas. By combining SFV OG Kush and ZBX, James Loud brings together classic OG genetics with modern candy characteristics to create a distinctive hybrid strain. Its medium height, comparatively short flowering time and varied candy-gas aroma profile make Petrol Pop particularly interesting for enthusiasts of fruity, spicy and fuel-forward cannabis genetics.
