Sholgar

Sholgar is an indica-dominant cannabis strain that can be grown very successfully in an outdoor- or an indoorgarden. This landrace from Afghanistan grows very bushy with strong branching, it hardly needs any fertilizers or attention to show its best. Sholgar comes from the province of Balkh, where the strain is very common in the region's famous chillum houses. The strain has a pretty heavy smell of funky motor oil and fuel terpenes and a hint of hashish, very tasty and also very suitable for the production of extracts.

Afghan Selection Traditional Afghan Cannabis Seeds

Afghan Selection is a breeder range centered on traditional Afghan genetics. The catalog is defined by Afghan locality names, a regular-seed direction, and a lineup that stays close to older Afghan line identity. Within our wider range of cannabis seeds, Afghan Selection stands out through a connected breeder structure rather than a mixed catalog. Names such as Badakhshan, Baharak, Khash, Kundoz, Panjsher, Qandahar South, Rustam Kush, Sheberghan, and Sholgar make the breeder easy to recognize and easier to browse with purpose.

What Defines Afghan Selection
Afghan Selection is built around a clear breeder identity. The range stays close to Afghanistan in both naming and catalog direction, with strains that reflect specific localities rather than a wide spread of unrelated releases. That gives the breeder a focused profile and a stronger sense of continuity across the full range. This identity is also what makes Afghan Selection different from a broader mixed-format breeder page. The emphasis here stays on traditional Afghan regular lines, locality-based naming, and a catalog with a much tighter internal structure.
