The Balkh cannabis strain comes from the Balkh Dist province in the north of Afghanistan - this landrace is also known as Chimtal and has a wonderful scent reminiscent of spicy mint, diesel and old oil. It is also interesting that Balkh can cope with really low temperatures, close to freezing point....
