Manufacturer: Love of Landrace
Immerse yourself in the symphony of Malawi Gold, which originates from the Salima region of Malawi in south-east Africa. This strain grows in a warm, humid climate, making it incredibly resistant to mildew and pests. Of all African landraces, this strain is by far the heaviest, with a long, slender appearance and a distinctive golden colour. In terms of aroma, Malawi Gold offers a sweet pineapple and earth profile, sometimes rounded off with delicious coffee. It has a very long-lasting and euphoric effect, making it a popular choice for all-day use. Due to its energising feel, it increases concentration and helps with stress, depression and fatigue.
Malawi Gold became known, among other things, for its drying method, known by many as ‘Malawi Cob’, in which it is wrapped in corn or banana leaves, tightly packed and fermented and dried underground. This method makes it a mild yet very powerful treat. Malawi Gold grows extremely wide and tall, which requires extreme control when growing indoors – incidentally, it doesn't grow quite as tall in soil...
