Manufacturer: K.C. Brains
Bahia Black Head was crossed in 1998 from a pure Brazilian cannabis strain from Rio de Janeiro and a male KC. This cross resulted in a variety with the outstanding characteristics of the Brazilian Sativa, but with the earlier time of the KC, making it suitable for milder climates. As it is predominantly Indica, this plant grows bushy, with fairly light-coloured leaves, but this changes later, when it turns dark green. As the plant grows, the leaves become narrower and narrower, which is said to be due to its sativa parentage. Thanks to its pleasant medium size, it is better able to withstand mould and moisture and has a distinctly brassy aroma. Aroma will be noticeable.

Back in 1979, KC Brains got its start in the Netherlands, and things have been evolving ever since. The person behind it spent years picking up genetics from different places, always looking for something worth growing. That kind of hands-on work shaped the strains they still offer today. You will find plenty of growers sticking with their seeds because they are simple to work with and tend to hold up well, whether you are growing inside or out.
