Bubblegun

Bubblegun - Spliff Seeds

Bubblegun by Spliff Seeds is an Indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain created by crossing a classic Bubblegum with an AK. The original Bubblegum genetics originated in Indiana, USA, and were later further developed in the Netherlands. This genetic line is particularly well known for its unmistakably sweet flavour and is considered one of the traditional American cannabis varieties. To create Bubblegun, Spliff Seeds combined these special genetics with its own AK line, primarily to improve the flower structure. The result is a robust Indica-Sativa hybrid that combines classic Bubblegum characteristics with the distinctive traits of AK.

Bubblegun develops a compact plant structure with dense, firm flowers and is characterized by a relatively short to medium flowering period. Thanks to its Indica-dominant heritage, it displays vigorous, well-structured growth. Spliff Seeds also describes Bubblegun as a strain with high THC content and a comparatively pronounced CBD level. In addition to indoor cultivation, these genetics are also suitable for outdoor growing, particularly in regions with climatic conditions similar to the humid Dutch climate.

With Bubblegun, the name truly says it all: its intensely sweet bubblegum aroma is strongly reminiscent of classic fruity chewing gum, complemented by pleasantly fruity nuances. This combination of pronounced sweetness and a characteristic bubblegum flavour makes the strain particularly interesting for enthusiasts of traditional Bubblegum genetics. The breeder describes its character as clear, activating and fast-acting. With its distinctive genetic heritage, compact flowers and unmistakable fruity-sweet aroma profile, Bubblegun combines classic American cannabis genetics with the breeding expertise of Spliff Seeds.

Spliff Seeds: Amsterdam Breeding Since the Nineties

Spliff Seeds started back in 1995 in Amsterdam. Two growers, Marcel and Erik, set it up and gave it a logo that people still remember because it is probably the funniest one in the seed scene. From the very beginning, their idea was simple: keep prices fair but make sure the genetics stay strong. They choose their parent plants carefully, then test them over and over before anything is released.

Every batch goes through sorting by hand and repeated germination checks. They only put out fresh seeds that can be counted on. Some growers choose them for the simple growing process, others for the THC punch. Either way, the catalog is straightforward and solid. Incidentally, many varieties of spliff are ideal for growing on the balcony.
