Moneymaker is simply Masterkush – one of the winning strains of the nineties in fem. form. It is very easy, very fast and produces excellent results – therefore also well suited for beginners. Moneymaker is a cross between Master Kush x Hindu Kush and Skunk and a really beautiful old-school strain.

The Strain Hunters Seed Bank began in 2013 in Amsterdam as part of the Green House Seed Company. The idea was to gather rare cannabis strains from across the world and make them available to growers. Over time, the focus has been on feminized seeds, autoflowering hybrids, and landraces that you usually do not see for sale. Many of these genetics came from trips through Africa, Jamaica, Latin America, and Vietnam.

The people behind it are Arjan, Simon, and the late Franco Loja, who filmed several documentaries while traveling to find these plants. Their goal has always been to secure strains before they disappear and to share them with growers worldwide. The project is tied closely to Green House Seeds, which itself has been around since 1995.
