Super Sativa Seed Club
Super Sativa Seed Club: Old School Genetics from Netherlands
The Super Sativa Seed Club (SSSC) has roots going back to the mid 1980s in Den Haag. It grew out of the original Sacred Seeds work and quickly gained a reputation for strains like Durban x Thai, Williams Wonder, and M39. The story begins when Sam the Skunkman moved from California to the Netherlands, bringing Haze and Skunk #1 genetics. From there, Karel Schelfhout used these plants to build the early SSSC library.

The company worked alongside names like Nevil Schoenmaker, who founded the first international seed bank and created Nevil’s Haze. SSSC made waves in High Times, but much of the early collection was later lost. Still, Karel preserved a cutting of Old School Haze, which remains at the heart of their work. Today, Karel’s son Kees continues the breeding, keeping the classic strains alive for a new generation.

If you read up on the early days of cannabis seeds in Europe, the name Super Sativa Seed Club comes up a lot. They were around in the mid 1980s, long before seeds were everywhere, and they stuck to preserving solid genetics. That is kind of what made their name. You can actually buy the Super Sativa Seedclub seeds straight from Cannapot now, and it is nice knowing the shop works with breeders directly. No guessing if the seeds are real or not. Most of the strains they are known for lean on haze and sativa lines, but the catalog has grown. Now you see hybrids, autoflowers, even some landrace inspired stuff. If you are curious about seeds that still have some history behind them, this is one place to look.
Why people go for Super Sativa Seed Club
A lot of growers want the same three things. Good genetics, seeds that sprout reliably, and some variety so you are not stuck with one type. Super Sativa Seed Club checks all those boxes. They built everything on landraces and hybrids collected decades back. They kept selecting until they were stable. And the list of strains is long enough that you will probably find something that fits. Cannapot has both the old-school hazes and newer crosses. I pulled together some of what is listed so you can get an idea.
A look at the strains
Auto Creeper: Basically the automatic version of their Creeper line. It grows quick, wraps up in a few months. You still get that spicy haze smell though. Good for short outdoor seasons, and indoors it does not stretch too much.
Auto Elephant: The name hints at size. This one tends to yield more than most autos. Stretches more, buds come out dense. Tastes earthy with a light sweetness. Some people see it as a step between photoperiod and autos.
Black Lebanon: These plants often turn purple or even close to black, which looks different from the usual. The smell leans spicy, hash-like. It is tied to old Lebanese lines, which explains the darker tones. People who like traditional hash plants often go for this.
Bruce Lemon Diesel: This is a mash of Bruce Banner, Lemon, and Diesel. The mix brings citrus and that fuel edge together. It grows strong, makes resin-heavy buds. If you are into loud terpene profiles, this one stands out.
Bruce Lemon Diesel Auto: Same idea as above but faster. It keeps the taste but finishes quicker. Indoors it is easy to run, outdoors it finishes before the cold kicks in.
Creamy Kees: This one is about smoother flavor. Creamy, sweet, a little herbal. Not as sharp as haze. Growth stays balanced, not too wild.
Creeper: One of their haze-heavy classics. Creeper grows tall, smells spicy, and has that old haze character. If you want a taste of what early sativas were like, this is close.
Friesland: This one is a true legend and it was made for colder places. It can handle shorter summers, and the buds are dense. Outdoors, it sometimes turns purple. If you are further north, Friesland is a safe bet.
Frosty Friday: Resin is the main feature here. Buds get covered, so the frosty look is not just a name. Smells of citrus and pine. A lot of people like it for extracts.
Golden Apple Haze: Fruitier haze, basically. Golden Apple Haze mixes the classic haze lift with a sweet apple-like flavor. Outdoors, it can get big. Indoors, it still stretches but gives a strong harvest.
Karel's Dank: Named for breeder Karel Schelfhout. This one leans earthy and skunky. It is a mix of haze and modern genetics. Growth stays pretty balanced.
Karel's Haze: A straightforward haze type from Karel himself. Sharp citrus, uplifting feel. If you want haze but not in its rawest form, this one works.
Karel's Herer Haze: This one is a nod to Jack Herer. Long flowering, haze style growth, and uplifting taste. Takes time but pays off if you are into haze lines.
Kees Old School Haze: A direct throwback. Tall, airy buds, strong haze incense smell. It is less about modern density and more about keeping the classic sativa alive.
Kosher Haze: This is Kosher Kush crossed with haze. So you get solid buds and earthy Kush taste mixed with haze energy. Easier to grow than pure haze but still has the flavor.
All these Super Sativa Seed Club cannabis seeds are right here at Cannapot. The shop has been around for a long time and only works with original breeders. Orders come in original packs, and shipping is discreet. That matters for a lot of people. No one wants to guess if what they got is the real deal. Cannapot is careful with that, which is why they keep their name steady in the scene.
What people usually say
The same things come up often. Seeds arrive safe and on time. Germination works out well if you handle them right. The plants do what the description says, though with haze you should expect some differences. Growers who try Creeper or Kees Old School Haze usually mention how it reminds them of old sativas they smoked years back. People who grow Bruce Lemon Diesel or Frosty Friday often point out how sticky and resin covered the buds are.
If you want seeds with history, Cannapot’s list of Super Sativa Seed Club seeds is worth a look. You can pick from long hazes like Golden Apple Haze or quick ones like Auto Creeper. Ordering from Cannapot means you know the seeds are authentic. That is the main thing. Whether you are chasing old-school haze or modern hybrids, the Super Sativa Seed Club has something lined up.
