Blackdance

Blackdance – Reggae Seeds

Blackdance by Reggae Seeds is a cannabis strain created by crossing Black Domina × Dancehall. The Spanish breeder thus combines two distinctive genetics with different backgrounds into a unique line. Black Domina brings its classic Indica influence to the cross, while Dancehall contributes additional characteristics from the Reggae Seeds breeding programme.

When grown, Blackdance develops a vigorous, robust and manageable plant structure. Thanks to its uniform growth pattern, the strain can be easily integrated into different indoor setups and is particularly suitable for growers looking for straightforward and trainable genetics. Depending on the phenotype and growing conditions, growth pattern, branching and other characteristics may be expressed to different degrees.

Blackdance is particularly interesting for different cultivation methods. The genetics are suitable for both Sea of Green setups (SOG) and SCROG. While SOG can take advantage of its uniform and manageable growth, the plants' branching also provides good conditions for distributing them across the available area in a SCROG setup.

Visually, Blackdance also displays the influences of both parent lines. Vigorous plant growth and pronounced branching combine to create an attractive and distinctive appearance. Blackdance thus combines Black Domina and Dancehall into a robust and versatile genetic that stands out particularly for its manageable development and suitability for SOG and SCROG concepts.

Reggae Seeds: Caribbean Vibes from Spain

Reggae Seeds kicked things off in Spain back in 2006. The idea was simple. Make good seeds for growers, collectors, and people who need them for medical reasons. The folks behind it have been into cannabis for a long time. Most of their life, really. They went looking for genetics that felt special and kept them close until they were ready to share. A lot of what they offer has plenty of CBD, which makes it interesting for people dealing with certain health problems. What’s more, all these varieties are very easy to grow, even for beginners.

Quick Facts
Location: Spain
Focus: CBD-rich, roots-inspired strains
Types Available: Regular and feminised seeds
Known For: Caribbean style genetics with a mellow touch
Works Well For: Anyone after natural, oldschool plants

They started by working with commercial strains and landraces from the Caribbean and other parts of the world. At first, they stuck to regular seeds, keeping things natural and avoiding chemical tweaks. Over time, with a lot of trial and error, they added feminised seeds too. If you like the idea of growing something with that roots feel, or you just want seeds that are not the same as everything else, they might be worth a look.
